In the picture, Bethany, Heather, Chrissy, and I (Shannon was taking this picture; thanks to her!) are taking the notes of what we just planned. This one-and-a-half hours' learning planning experience was productive for our teaching project on the scribbling stage, which will take about 3 hours. We had the discussions on each person's responsible parts, the type of assessments, and the activities that were going to integrate on the two different days. Through talking and sharing ideas, we navigated for what and how we are going to present. One thing that I found helpful is that we admitted that we still did not have the ideas for individuals' parts, so the others could share what they know could be useful. I truly recognized that this lesson planning is a process: after deciding on the responsible sessions, we discussed the activities; at first we did not have specific ideas, so we all went back to the textbook, and discussed on our notes. This backing up helped us a lot to go forward again.
